Killers @ MSG

The show opened up really quickly. In the middle of conversation the lights go off and the stage lights up blue with a lower case k front and center. The Killers take stage and the place goes wild. They immediately begin playing Spaceman off the new album. Everyone is on their feet (singing "the starmaker says it aint so bad, the dream makers gonna make you mad. the spaceman said everybody look down, its all in your mind!") and no one I saw sat down throughout the rest of the show. Way to kick it off!

They played about 20 songs and all three albums were represented pretty equally. The 3rd song was Somebody Told me, the place e-rrupted! Other great songs were Human, Can You Read Mind, All These Things I Have Done and Mr Brightside. During All These Things I Have Done, the crowd was chanting "i got soul but im not a soldier" for like 1 minute until the band joined in (great moment). One of my fav moments was the performance of Sam's Town - The Abbey Road version. I had never even heard it before, its a beautiful song.

They ended the night with When You Were Young and then thanked NY a bunch of times. The drummer threw out sticks to the fans, everybody cheered like crazy of course. Going into this concert I was a pretty big fan of their work. I only started listening to them after their 2nd album but went and got the 1st soon after. With their 3rd album coming out late in 08 and then attending this show, I am an even bigger fan. They really sound awesome live!

Im not gonna proof this so sorry if theres mistakes. bye
